The problem
Business problem:

-
Needs a CMS system that can be used across multiple umbrella brands and dynamic enough that marketing team can manage independently. They are currently relying too heavily on agency and suppliers.
-
Restructure the site according to user needs as it is difficult to navigate with hidden content
-
Want to build and maintain a community
-
Current site does not reflect brand values

The timetable was the most visited page from the old site and needed a user-friendly booking system. A share function was introduced so you can share a booked class with a friend to encourage them to join to build a sense of community.

There was actually a third type of user in this site which was the marketing executives as they will be changing and uploading content in the backend. They had a different set of user needs and wants which involved:
-
Consistent size for dynamic image content to ensure efficiency and ease of use
-
Need to add and remove events easily
-
Each new event to generate an edm
